As the 2007-2008 hockey season is in full swing, we welcome back the existing teams and the new teams to our organization. The league is experiencing tremendous growth in all three divisions, as it did last season. It certainly is a challenge for the executive to keep up with the increasing popularity of female hockey in North Eastern Alberta and West Central Saskatchewan. Going from 23 teams two years ago, 28 last year, and 35 this year the executive, schedulers and statisticians are very busy just keeping up with the enormous amount of information produced by players, teams and team management.

The volunteers of the ECAFHL will be doing their best to provide an enjoyable and quality environment for female hockey teams to play and we hope at the end of the day everyone will be proud of their accomplishments both on and off the ice.
